Palm sticks are handy to carry and effective self defense tools. A scalloped tipped tactical flashlight or pointed Kubaton key holder can be a first line of defense if used on sensitive areas. The only problem is how do you train with these tools? Since they typically have points or sharp edges you have to really hold back. So our trainers are really simple... we are using the same material as our Escrima sticks and putting the same chamfer on each end. Now you can practice your "parking lot" fighting and actually apply pressure without traumatizing your partner.
